Authorities say 29-year-old Jessica Shanice McLaughlin, of 35 New Saint Paul Church Road, Waynesboro has been arrested in a cocaine bust. She was charged with conspiracy to possess, with the intent to distribute cocaine hydrochloride. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Officials say they seized two kilos of cocaine, worth an estimated street value of more than $150,000.
McLaughlin’s uncle, 36-year-old Anthony Bernard McLaughlin, also known as “Kojak,” of 202 New Saint Paul Church Road, Waynesboro, is wanted by law enforcement authorities in the same case. He faces the same charge as his niece, according to Marshall Fisher, director of Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
Participating in the investigation were the MBN, U.S. Postal Service and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
