There was a book signing Saturday in Meridian at The Gathering Place on Front Street.
Linda Willis is the author of 'First Ladies Manual'. She was signing copies of her book from noon until 2 Saturday afternoon.
Willis says the book was originally intended just for first ladies. This changed, however, during her writing process.
"But as I continued to write the book, it transcended into the hearts of every woman and man. It encourages people to embrace the you, in you to learn balance, to fall in love with yourself again, to go back home and nurse the family so that the family may nourish the community," explains Willis.
'First Ladies Manual' is a book about people of all kinds taking their lives back from a hectic world.
