BP: Tube Drawing Oil Away from Gulf Well

BP Senior Vice President Kent Wells said the amount being drawn was gradually increasing, and it would take several days to measure it.

The tube was carefully placed into the 21-inch piping at the sea floor by engineers gingerly steering deep-sea robots.

The company has spent three weeks trying to contain the oil leak that's been fouling the Gulf of Mexico, and the latest effort had several setbacks.

Even as the company reported the success, scientists warned oil that has already spewed into the gulf could have dire consequences for the environment.

A researcher tells The Associated Press that computer models show the black ooze may have already entered a major current flowing toward the Florida Keys.

I know I can't Spell(Dyslexia I am) I will be the first to say that I am wrong when I am wrong that still don't give everyone the right to point the finger's and you yourself must realize they are not human's in the ocean and God gave us as human the resource to use and all the creation of the earth are not being killed . I am not acting Like I am God I just am giving my opinion and from reading the Bible if you would read it for yourself you would see were God created everything in the earth he just loan it to us to use and use it wisely. Why don't you start in Job38NLT BIBLE when God ask were you when he laid the foundation of this earth? And if you need more resource just start reading your Bible if you don't have one I suggest you invest in one.

Debra, you need to understand, God dosent like people poluteing the earth!Sounds like you need to rethink what ur spuing out!god didnt intend for man to kill all the dolphins, and fish!Nor did he create oil! Oil is a polution, and these men are guilty, as many of us are for destroying our planet! So you should realize this is the end, and our days are numbered! So dont act like your God!They should pay for what they have done! Not tax payers nor obama! And whatever we mess up wheter it be trash on the ground, we need to clean it up!Just as they should do the same!
