For nine years now, car lovers in our area have had the chance to check out some of the hottest cars at least once a year.
The 9th Annual Dixie Rodders Car Show was Saturday in Meridian. Last year's show brought in over 150 cars. Organizers of the show believe even more came out this year. For those cars that do show up, it is also a competition.
"The registrants vote for the cars to choose the cars they like best in workmanship, appearance, or they just like the car," explains Mike Massey, the former President of Dixie Rodders.
Massey says choosing a favorite car is never easy.
"That is a difficult decision because there are so many different types and styles out here. There are so many that are amazing. You've got cars out here that have been restored from the ground up near factory condition that are awesome cars," exclaims Massey.
The show also featured many hot rods that have been customized.
