Sebastopol School to Lose Students

The U.S. Justice Department says students from Leake County cannot attend a public school in Sebastopol, in neighboring Scott County.

The Justice Department notified school officials in both counties by letter this week.

The Justice Department said beginning in the fall, those students must attend South Leake Elementary or South Leake High School, located in Walnut Grove.

Scott County school superintendent Frank McCurdy says the order affects about 70-75 students.

Who cares?!? Why can't a parent chose where they want to send their kids anyway? It's stupid. Last time I checked, this was still America...
