Feneisha Hill, who teaches junior high science, turned herself in to authorities Wednesday after a warrant was signed for her arrest. Hill was released after posting bond.

Sheriff Kevin Fortinberry told WLOX-TV that Hill is accused of taking two students to Hattiesburg last weekend to go bowling and out to eat without the consent of their parents.

Fortinberry says Hill then allegedly had sex with one of the boys who is 13-years-old.

Hill was put on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of the investigation.

Fortinberry says the investigation began when one of the boys reported the incident to his parents.

When reading a story like this,as an educator, it is always hard to believe that a teacher would do something like that. Children look up to and respect their teachers and more importantly, they trust us to do the right thing. It makes me very sad to hear about someone violating that trust and taking advantage of a child. So, for her sake, I hope the alligations turn out to be false.

Thats very dumb knowing what Alabama rules say about Teacher affairs with students. This is what makes it so hard for the other employees that are employeed in education. This lets Alabama know that this teacher didn't read Alabama Ethics Code and she needs her teaching certificate taken.
