MPS Sets Rules for Graduation Service

Meridian High School will hold its graduation Friday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Ray Stadium.

The use of noisemakers or any participation in activities and behavior that is disruptive to the ceremony is not permitted.

No one is allowed on the track area for pictures during the awarding of diplomas.

The principal or superintendent will re-enact giving the diploma after the ceremony. Failure to comply with requests could result in removal from the ceremony.

Please do not bring flowers, balloons, etc., to the stadium. Any items brought in will be confiscated and held in an unsecured area under the stadium until after the ceremony. MPSD will not be responsible for damage or loss of the items.

Graduation is a formal, dignified, serious, as well as joyous occasion.
Please help us to provide a dignified atmosphere by refraining from clapping, yelling, etc., as the graduates receive their diplomas.

School officials respectfully request that you hold your applause until all graduates have been awarded diplomas. This will ensure that each student's name will be heard by the audience.
