Attorney General Robert Pietersz says judicial authorities in Peru are willing to arrange a conversation between island police and Joran van der Sloot.

The Dutchman is awaiting trial in Peru in the slaying of a 21-year-old woman in his Lima hotel room.

Van der Sloot told his jailers he is ready to clarify the Holloway case, but only to Aruba authorities. He is the only remaining suspect in the 2005 disappearance.

Pietersz said Wednesday that authorities on the Dutch island are dedicated to finding the truth about Holloway.

I hope the Aruban authorities will travel to Peru rather than let JvdS out of the Peruvian facility for even one second. This sociopath fashions himself a "smarter than everyone" person, and is a master at mind games and manipulation, and it's time (even if he does know the exact whereabouts of Natalee Holloway) that authorities remove him from the driver's seat and try him for the Peruvian murder of which he has been accused.
