The Mississippi Department of Transportation says that Interstate 20/59 in Lauderdale County will be closed at various times this weekend.

It will be closed in 15-minute intervals Sunday.

The closures will begin at daylight, and continue until about 10 p.m.

During that time, traffic will be stopped for 15 minutes, and then re-opened for at least 15 minutes, before being closed again.

Drivers who can take an alternate route are advised to do so to avoid delays.
