Phyliss Anderson announced Monday evening that she will run for the position of Choctaw Tribal Chief.
Anderson started her speech by thanking all of her supporters for standing by her for what has been a challenging run already.
Anderson went on to confirm she will run in the September 6th election. But she says her message is still the same as before and she is still abiding by her five core values.
"They are fiscal responsibility, accountability, honoring our Choctaw values, the quality of life, and leadership," said Anderson.
Anderson was all set to put those values into play after winning the July 5th runoff with Miko Beasley Denson election. But later the Choctaw Tribal Council threw out the entire election following alleged voting irregularities.
