Investigators are looking into the cause of a death for a person whose body was found in an abandoned building in Meridian Wednesday.
The body was discovered around 10 a.m. at a building near 6th Street and Cooper's Circle, across the street from Smith's Bakery.
Investigators do not know how long the body had been there, but they said they believe the cause of death was either suicide or natural causes.
An autopsy will be performed to try to verify the cause of death.
