The Merry Meridian events continued Sunday afternoon with a champagne brunch at Merrehope.

The fourth annual brunch celebrated Merry Meridian at Trees of Christmas. Betty Lou Jones with Merry Meridian says that everyone had a nice time and encourages the community to take part in all the Merry Meridian events. She says everyone should come to see the Christmas trees at Merrehope.

"Today, we had a record crowd and we're very excited," Jones said. "We made some money, and the food was delicious, and everybody had a great time."

Jones encourages everyone to go ahead and plan to attend next year's brunch.
