A Neshoba County church is honoring the memory of a young child who recently died in Philadelphia.
Longino Baptist Church has set up a special fund in the name of three-year-old Ann Marie Graham.
Graham died a month ago after being left for several hours in a hot car. Her parents are members of Longino Baptist.
The church wants to build a new playground at the church, that will include a plaque in Ann Marie's honor.
"In her three years, she touched the lives of people all over our community," said White. "Our church was rocked by this, and we want to make sure that the kids and the people in our church, every time they pass by, remember what an impact she had on all of us. "
White says the church hopes to have the playground built and open as soon as possible. Several donations have already been made.
To help, make a donation to Longino Baptist Church, and write Ann Marie in the memo. The address is: Longino Baptist Church, 10061 Road 614 Philadelphia, MS 39350.
