Clarke County, Miss.
The Clarke County Sheriff's Department is collecting toys for needy families this Christmas.
The toys may be dropped off at the sheriff's department, the Quitman School District, or BankPlus.
Families in Clarke County have been hit hard by the downturn in the economy, so the department is trying to help them this holiday season.
"I know the county officials, the city officials are working hard to get people back to work," said Sheriff Todd Kemp. "But there's still some need out there, and we are just trying to help and do what we can, put something back into the community and where these children will have a nice Christmas."
If you would like to donate toys for this toy drive, you may bring them to any collection point. Call 601-776-5252 for more information.
