Decatur Store Burglarized

Authorities in Newton County say they are investigating a burglary at a store there early Friday morning.

Sheriff Jackie Knight tells Newscenter 11 that someone made their way into the Dollar General store in Decatur around 5:15 Friday morning and took approximately $2,800 in cash.

Knight says anyone with information about this case should contact the Newton County Sheriff's Department or the Decatur Police Department.
