Lauderdale County School District's superintendent says he's pleased with how students performed on the MCT2 and Subject Area Testing.
Randy Hodges said the test scores for the county show what district leaders already believed.
Hodges said scores improved from last year, when the district was labeled Successful.
Hodges said the improvements in scores reflect the hard work that has been done over the last several years.
"I think we've been consistent with our approach," said Randy Hodges, superintendent. "I think we've really focused on each individual student, and we've been very consistent to track and follow that individual student, and find ways that we can help them improve."
Hodges says he's ready for the school ratings to be released to the public, so the public can see how well the district performed.
