A well-known Christian music artist will be performing at a Meridian church Wednesday night.

Eddie James, known for his songs like "I Am", will perform at First Assembly of God, 1929 Hwy 19 North.

Church officials are expecting a large crowd. James tours worldwide with a group of about 40 young people, who perform with him.

"Eddie James is a very versatile worship leader," said worship pastor, Stacey Clearman. "You can expect a variety of music styles. Many of his songs have been heard throughout the nation, and they're performed in churches of all backgrounds."

The concert starts at 7 p.m. The doors open at 6 p.m. The concert is free of charge. A love offering will be taken.
