Execution Set for Mississippi Inmate

Mississippi is preparing to execute Henry Curtis Jackson, Jr., Tuesday for the stabbing deaths of his two nieces and two nephews, ages 2 to 5.

The children were killed in Jackson's mother's home in Leflore County while she was at church Nov. 1, 1990.

Jackson's adult sister, Regina Jackson, and two other children survived the attack.

Regina Jackson is requesting the governor spare her brother's life.
Their mother also says she has forgiven him and hopes his life is spared.

Court records say Jackson planned to steal his mother's safe and stabbed the victims when he went to the house that day.

The Bible says tho shall no kill. Even though he killed, putting him to death as the punishment makes you no better of a person and you're commiting the same crime as he is. Eye for an eye is the old testament before anyone jumps on that band wagon.

Good riddance. This execution is long overdue. What kind of monster stabs to death four small children? Sickening.

This man killed some children back in 1990, yes, that does call for execution but, why did it have to take so long? Our taxpayer money pays for people, like this man, for years on end, giving them 3 meals a day, a place to sleep, hot showers, and everything else when they don't deserve it. If they knew in the end they were going to be put to death, why make the taxpayers support then for 22 years? I mean come on, its almost like, "hey, since I have no food and money, let's kill someone and live another 20 years on the expense of my victim's families." that's just my 2 cents worth....

The State of Mississippi should have given this guy the needle before now! There is no greater crime than a crime against a child. Mississippi has let him live for 22 years and appeal his sentence. I say EXECUTE HIM NOW! :)
