Fatal Crash Update

The names of victims in a fatal head-on collision in Newton are being released. Margaret Nowell, age 65 from Philadelphia and 41-year-old Billy Wayne Kelly were killed in that head-on collision. It happened just before 5 PM Friday on highway 15 south near the Southern Pine Electric Power Association. According to a preliminary investigation, alcohol is not thought to have been involved. An investigation into the cause continues.
