A Louisville woman and her young grandchild are dead following a one vehicle accident in Winston County.

The crash happened around 10 a.m. Monday on Highway 25 in Winston County near Morgantown Road.

Investigators say the maroon 1997 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling north when it apparently left the roadway and rolled over in the median.

The driver, Jolene McQueen, 48, and her two-year-old grandchild were killed in the accident.

Investigators say both were ejected from the vehicle. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
