The latest marker on Mississippi's Country Music Trail will be unveiled later this week in Neshoba County.
The marker will be placed in Choctaw, honoring longtime Neshoba County resident, Bob Ferguson.
Ferguson was one of the key shapers of the Nashville sound of the 1960s and 1970s. He died in 2001.
He wrote the classic hits, "Wings of a Dove" and "The Carroll County Accident".
Ferguson was also known as an advocate of Choctaw music and culture.
The unveiling will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at 101 Industrial Road in Choctaw.
