DNA tests have confirmed the identity of a Neshoba County woman who died in a house fire last week.
Authorities say 56-year-old Alice Vergene Neese died in the fire on County Road 325 Apr. 17.
An autopsy shows that Neese died of smoke inhalation.
Neese was the only person at home at the time of the fire.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire, but family members report the home did have some electrical problems.
