The qualifying deadline for upcoming congressional primaries hit yesterday, and all four US Representatives from Mississippi have at least one challenger.

It looked for a time that District 3 republican Gregg Harper would run unopposed, but Friday two qualifiers announced their run.

Harper will face Robert Allen of Sturgis in the republican primary.

The republican nominee will then face democrat Crystal Biggs in the general election.

Meanwhile Senator Roger Wicker will have four men running against him, two republicans and two democrats.
