Fire fighters were called to a home on Jackson Military Rd. around 5 PM Friday.
By the time they arrived the house was already involved. Residents were home at the time of the fire, but they got out without major injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
"When first units arrived there was 50 to 60 percent involvement in the house," says County Fire Coordinator Alan Dover, "we made an offensive attack, but due to lack of water we had to pull back and go into a defensive mode."
The residents told responders that the fire started in the bathroom.
