The 10th anniversary of Hope Village for Children will bring lots of Hollywood stars to Meridian this weekend.
Meridian native Sela Ward, who helped found Hope Village, is hosting an anniversary gala Saturday Apr. 20 at the MSU Riley Center, another project she supported.
This is the largest fundraising event Sela has held for the organization.
Ward currently stars on CSI: New York with Gary Sinise. He and other celebrities are expected to attend the sold-out event. The event includes dinner, a live auction and a live performance by LeAnn Rimes. In addition to Sinise, Brett Favre, Carmine Giovinazzo, Hill Harper, AJ Buckley, Robert Joy, Sam Haskell and Lance Bass are expected to be on hand for the festivities.
The public is invited to be a part of the pre-gala event. Celebrities will begin walking the red carpet into the Riley Center at 6 p.m. Saturday. You're invited to come and take pictures of the stars.
