LOVE's Kitchen in Meridian is getting prepared to feed people for its Christmas dinner.
Hams have already been donated, but the kitchen needs ingredients for macaroni & cheese and dressing. Officials say they are also running out of eggs to serve for breakfast.
LOVE's Kitchen will be open Christmas Day for breakfast and lunch, showing the parade and the games on television to give homeless people a place to stay out of the cold.
"Thanksgiving was great. We had plenty of food to share," said executive director Fannie Johnson. "The population that we served loved it, had a great day, and we are looking forward to doing the same thing for Christmas and the rest of the year."
Johnson says she expects to serve between 300 and 400 people Christmas Day.
Anyone wanting to make a donation may bring it to LOVE's Kitchen at 801 18th Avenue South in Meridian between the hours of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
