Some local students got to take part in all sorts of fun activities on Saturday that is part of an annual tradition.
Saint Patrick School in Meridian hosted its annual Irish Festival on campus Saturday afternoon. There were also sorts of animals, laser tag, games, a cake walk, sweet shoppe, and inflatables. Organizers say everyone had a great time!
"It's been an event for a very long time," festival organizer Christy Pritchard says. "In fact, it was going on when I was a child when I was a student here. It's been moved from May to March, but it's still a great event."
The festival serves as a fundraiser for the school.
