Locals have now organized a petition in an effort to free a local nurse who has been jailed overseas.
There is now a petition the Obama administration to help free Candi Dunlap from a Macedonian jail. Dunlap was there when she was jailed for trying to leave the country with a rare set of coins.
25,000 signatures are needed by November 18th. You can access the site by visiting the "Prayers for Candi" Facebook page.
