MSU Meridian and Meridian Community College joined forces Tuesday for a showcase of sorts for students.
The free event Tuesday afternoon at MCC gave both colleges the chance to connect with high school students, non-traditional or transfer students, or anyone interested in getting a college degree.
It was an opportunity for prospective students to find out about financial aid, the admissions process and look into career options.
"It's a wonderful event," said Nedra Bradley, MCC's director of financial aid. "It helps us with recruiting, and it helps the community find out about educational opportunities that are available for them."
High school seniors could apply for MCC's tuition guarantee and honors college. Those interested in transferring to MSU Meridian were offered information about the Riley Next Step Scholarship.
