Meridian police say a business employee used a stun gun on a robbery suspect Monday evening.
Officials say the suspect entered Concept Beauty and Skin Care, located in the 4900 block of Poplar Springs Drive, about 7:30 armed with a handgun.
He allegedly took the woman's purse and demanded more. That's when she used the stun gun twice
before the suspect was able to escape from the business. The victim was not harmed.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 18 and 25 years old, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. At the time he was wearing a black t-shirt with gray writing on it and dark jeans. He fled the business in a gray or silver Ford Taurus.
Anyone with information about the crime may report it to Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.
