MPD Says 'Kidnapping' Did Not Happen

Meridian police say there are no plans to charge a woman who reported being robbed and kidnapped Sunday night.

Police say it turns out the woman had actually picked up two individuals to purchase drugs from them.

But after driving around for a while, authorities say the woman got scared and ditched her car, then made up a story about being kidnapped.

If she HAD been charged, people would gripe. Now people are griping because she HASN'T been charged. I feel sorry for law enforcement. They put their lives on the line every day and are still danged if they do, danged if they don't. If you think you can do a better job, take the test.
