Employers will be on hand Thursday, Nov. 18, for the MSU-MCC 2nd Annual College and Job Fair. Plus, several booths will be set up for financial aid, G.E.D., and general education advice.
"We ask that people come dressed for success and we ask that people bring resumes," said MSU Meridian's Candy Adams. "Because last year, they filled out applications on the spot and performed a few interviews on the spot."
Representatives of both schools say last year's college and job fair helped to encourage employers to come back again this year. By Thursday, Kahlmus Auditorium will be filled with booths set up to help you either find a job or get an education.
"We will have all of our degree programs there," said MCC's Heather Knight. "We will have our admissions, our recruiting, financial aid departments, also our veterans service department there, and our continuing education, workforce development and G.E.D. programs as well."
"It is a one stop shop for people who are looking to further their education or they are looking for job opportunities," said Adams. "We'll have over 20 businesses here Thursday. We'll have positions available, such as account executives, sales, machinists, welders, drivers. We have various health occupations that are available."
