Meridian Main Street hosted a 'Just Start It' conference in downtown Meridian for people looking to start businesses.
A panel of experts was on hand to give out free advice to people who may be looking to start their own business.
The attendees also participated in question and answer sessions with the panelists.
"A lot of these services that are available are free," said Main Street executive director Karen Rooney. "And a lot of people don't know about them so I thought it would be a good idea to have everybody together and Main Street put it all together so that way they could come to one place, kind of one-stop-shopping, to find out how to finally get that business that's been roaming around their head for years off the ground."
Meridian Community College also talked about its entrepreneur and loan programs at the conference.
