Wednesday evening native son Moe Bandy and Mac McAnally were on hand for the unveiling of their stars on the Walk of Fame in the shadow of the MSU Riley Center.
It's the latest event in a week full of Jimmie Rodgers Festival activities.
McAnally is a Belmont native and has had several charting singles. He is going to be a part of Songwriter's Night at the Temple Theatre Wednesday.
Bandy spent much of his life in Texas but his family has ties to Jimmie Rodgers.
Bandy's grandfather employed Rodgers at the rail yard in Meridian.
