Meridian Home Catches Fire

The Meridian Fire Department was called to a house fire on 16th Avenue shortly after 7:00 on Wednesday evening.

Firefighters say fire broke out in the basement at a residence located at 1725 16th Avenue. Fire investigators tell Newscenter 11 it is too soon to say what started the fire, but no one was seriously injured in the fire.
