Meridian, Miss. Mission Mississippi hosted a luncheon Thursday in conjunction with Reconciliation Week.
Mission Mississippi is a movement seeking to unify the body of Christ across racial and denominational lines.
The organization is celebrating its 20-year anniversary this year.
President Neddie Winters talked about the vision the organization has for Meridian.
"We usually do a day of dialogue, a vision luncheon, and other things to help invite people to join together to make people aware, but also emphasize how we can come together, and bring people across the racial divide," said Winters.
One more Reconciliation Week event remains, a memorial motorcycle ride Friday, sponsored by motorcycle clubs from Meridian and Oxford.
