Meridian police say two juveniles taken into custody after a weekend carjacking are now back at home.
Charges have not been filed against a 12-year-old and a 14-year-old suspected of robbing a Meridian woman at gunpoint, stealing her car and purse.
The crime happened Aug. 17 in the 800 block of 29th Street.
Police say the juveniles were found shortly afterwards in the victim's car and were apprehended after a foot chase.
Capt. Dean Harper says the suspects, who are brothers, were released to their guardian Saturday night. It's not clear if or when charges will be filed against the two.
