The Meridian City Council was scheduled to meet Friday to vote on changes to its lease agreement with a company building a new police station.
But it turns out the council did not have a quorum for a recessed meeting that was set for 4 p.m.
At least three members of the 5-member council have to be present to conduct a vote.
The meeting was recessed again until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, when at least three members are expected to attend.
Officials say changes to the contract will give the city more power to work on the facility once it moves in.
