Some local pastors were recognized for their hard work in serving some of the elderly members of our community.
Queen City Nursing Home hosted a pastor appreciation luncheon Friday. They honored the pastors and evangelists that come to visit the residents.
The ministers say the residents' faith is a very important part of their lives.
"These ministers take time out of their day to come in and serve our residents, and we want to honor them and say thank you for all that you do for our residents and for their spiritual needs," said administrator Barbara Howard.
Queen City says it wanted to treat the ministers like the ministers treat everyone else on a daily basis.
