The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics is planning a
'Prescription Drug Take Back Day' and law enforcement agencies are assisting, including the Kemper County Sheriff's Department.
Leftover medications that are no longer needed will be accepted Aug. 9 at the participating agencies from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.
The agencies will safely dispose of these unneeded prescriptions.
