Prescription Drug Workshop

Law enforcement agents from across Jackson are getting a course on staying one step ahead of a growing prescription drug problem in Mississippi.

Law enforcement says that legal drugs are just as much of a battle as illegal ones and the problem is getting bigger.

From doctor shopping to forged prescriptions, agents are learning how to better handle cases and crack down on those misusing the system.

A larger workshop is also slated for September to include agents from across the state.
