Rain No Match for Choctaw Indian Fair

The main walkway at the Choctaw Indian Fair had a steady flow of foot traffic on Wednesday afternoon. In fact, many said the cloudy and cooler weather made for an even better time. When Newscenter 11 stopped by, the main attraction seemed to be the arts and crafts pavilion, where people could see and purchase Choctaw made items.

"They've learned how to make keychains and build stuff out of pottery and how to make music," according to Shaquetta Johnson, who brought her children to the fair.

However, many were anxiously waiting for the carnival rides to open at 4:00. Others were looking forward to the music and stickball games.
