Organizers are preparing for a day full of entertainment for the Queen City.

This coming Tuesday, October 26th, the 3rd Annual 'Rock the Park' will be in Meridian at 7 in the evening. It will be held at Meridian's Ben Arthur Davis Park.

'Rock the Park' will feature live music, dance, and praise. Organizers of the event say it will be an exciting night with a special guest.

"It will be, just a jolt if you will. A night where everyone can gather for free in pretty much the center of our town. Even to go with that, we have plenty of local people helping, but God has also blessed us with a regional artist and worship leader names Eddie James, who for a decade has been traveling really throughout the nation doing outreaches and events in small towns and big cities alike," describes Stacy Clearman, who is working with organizers of the event.

Organizers say the purpose of the event is to charge the city, including the youth and young adults.

The event is completely free. You can receive more information by contacting kingdomcomeministries@gmail.com or you can call 601-737-2904. And don't forget to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.
