Meridian native Sela Ward appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly. During the interview, she talked about the work she did in founding Hope Village for Children, and the work it is doing in helping children in Mississippi who are in the foster care system.
"I'm on a big campaign to re-establish group homes, because the quality of care is much, much better than the foster system," said Ward. "I mean, bouncing from 11-12 families a year."
Hope Village for Children opened in 2001.
Live with Regis and Kelly airs daily on WTOK at 9 a.m.
