Lauderdale County, Miss. The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department says two suspects have been identified for sending threatening Facebook messages.
Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun says numerous complaints were made by area residents who received kidnapping or sexual assault threats through the social media venue.
The sheriff's department says it launched an investigation and identified two juveniles as being responsible.
Authorities say they don't believe anyone is in danger.
Calhoun said it's important for parents to monitor their children's Internet activities.
