Several teachers from across the east Mississippi area have been taking part in a special science camp this week.
Meridian High School hosted the event, in which participants took intensive science lessons, looking for ways to teach and inspire their students.
"I love being with teachers. I am a teacher, and we want to have good material for the students," said science teacher Todd Bolenbaugh. "We'll keep them interested in the sciences, hopefully give them good application for possible engineering careers or whatever they choose."
The camp was sponsored by the Meridian Area Navy League.
