Truck in a Tree

Drivers near downtown Meridian were in for a sight Tuesday afternoon after a bizarre one-vehicle accident.

A driver lost control at 19th Street and 23rd Avenue around 2:30 p.m. and a truck ended up wedged in a tree.

There were no injuries, though traffic was held up for a few minutes on 19th Street as the truck was towed away.

No arrests were made.
