United Blood Services is asking people to donate blood to meet higher demand brought on by Isaac.
United Blood Services at Bonita Lakes Crossing will also be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday to take donations.
Officials say there is likely to be an increase in demand because of the storm, and also a decrease in giving in in southern parts of the state.
