A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday evening for the the opening of the balcony at Weidmann's.
Weidmann's reopened a few months ago after extensive renovations.
The restaurant brought back some original menu items in an attempt to bring back what many people enjoyed with the original establishment.
Owner, Charles Frazier, said he hopes the balcony enhances the Weidmann's experience.
"Obviously, we hope to increase our bar business by having this out here, and really a dining experience, to enhance it by being outside," said Frazier.
Along with outdoor dining, happy hour is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
