The students of Parkview Elementary were saying goodbye to bad behavior and aloha to a school luau on Friday afternoon.
The school held a party for kids who made an effort to be on their best behavior both academically and socially. The Parkview faculty put on this luau as part of a process called positive behavior intervention supports that encourages students to do the right thing through a reward system.
Parkview holds a different type of reward at the end of each month for the best-behaved students.
